Let me just point out to the new cryptocurrency investor, enthusiast, or researcher that Eobot.com is not only an inefficient way to mine any cryptocurrency it is also a full-blown scam.
Eobot Operates Under a Veil of Semi-Legitimacy
The administrators of Eobot.com exploit their customers in a variety of ways but most importantly they sell hash-rate at an excessive price. If you ever accumulate a significant amount of cryptocurrency (to these people $10 is significant!) they will find a way to freeze your account and seize your assets.
Eobot.com claims: “Eobot is the easiest, cheapest, and best way to get or mine Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, STEEM, Dogecoin, Ripple, Dash, Golem, BitShares, CureCoin, NEM…”
Like many people concerned about their privacy I used a VPN or Virtual Private Network for a period of time with many cryptocurrency sites. I had no problem with any site except Eobot who used the VPN as an excuse to accuse me of living in New York and thus utilizing the Bitlicense law there (supposedly) to seize my assets. Here is their customer service reply long after I stopped using a VPN:
(In bold my 3rd or 4th email over a period of months…)
>****@****.com says Hello, my account says I cannot use it because of something to do with New York regulations. I do not live in NY. I can provide my drivers license or other information to verify this. I have held Florida residency for ** years straight. Please help me to restore my account. Thank you.
Stop using proxys or vpn’s if you do not live in New York. You are most likly getting that error because the ip you use or once used originated from New York.

Until next time…happy mining,
-The Eobot Team
Judge for yourself if this is a company you would like to work with. I don’t care that the cryptocurrency has appreciated quite a bit from a year ago when this occurred but I do care that they are ripping people off.
Is a government issued photo ID not enough for these people to prove residency? Find better sources for hash-rate and experimentation. Eobot, as they state, is not for serious people. Just a heads up.
